Whether you
plan to attend the reunion or not, please send us a short (under 500 words)
description of “life since graduation.” The responses will be compiled into a
booklet format and handed out at the reunion picnic as a memento (and emailed
to those not attending). We would like all classmates to mark our 50-year
milestone by being part of this collected history, so jot down your adventures,
your accomplishments, your happy times, and share where you are and what you’re
doing now. Be a part of what is sure to be this year’s “best seller”! We need
to receive your message by September 14,

It is now
only two months away; the 50th, 68/68, reunion is here. This is what
we have so far:
Thursday
night:
5 pm – tour
of Santa Ana High School.
5:30 to 6:45
– meet at the Do Lunch deli, at Civic Center and Flower, across from Santa Ana Bowl;
Saints home game against Calvary Chapel begins at 7 pm. Admission is
approximately $5.00 at the gate.
Friday
night: 6 pm meet and greet at Zito’s Pizza, 2036 N. Tustin St., Orange; this is
a buy your own affair.
Saturday
picnic: Irvine Park, site 2, 10 am til 4 pm. Park entrance fee is $5.00 per
car. Reunion picnic: BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, condiments, potato and
macaroni salads, chips, sodas and water; side dishes always welcome. Musicians
bring your non-electric instruments, no power at the park. Cost for the picnic is
$25.00 per person.
The Raffle:
we have the following items: Brian Mann has donated 2 nights at his Baywood
Cottage on the coast (https://baywoodcottage.com). Others have donated half a case of
wine and a gift basket. Anyone who wishes to contribute please contact Kathy
Goddard at luv2teachninos@yahoo.com. Raffle tickets are $3.00 each or 2
for $5.00.
Saturday
night: Elks club, 211 E. Chapman, Orange (the circle), hors d’oeuvres, dessert,
2 drinks, door prizes and music. Musicians bring your instruments, electricity
available. Contact Brian Mann (mannmademusic@me.com) for details. Cost for the event is
$20.00 per person.
