Here's what's happening

50th reunion

We are the people we were warned about: don’t trust anybody over 30; we have exceeded that twice over. We are the generation of JFK, the Beatles, RFK, MLK, Woodstock, Manson and Viet-Nam – Love is All You Need! We are parents, grandparents, and, in some cases, great-grandparents. We have survived teenage angst and middle age insecurity. We are the Class of 1968!

Here’s what we got:

Thursday night (10/4) – 5pm tour of Santa Ana High School; 5:30 – 6:45 meet at deli /across from Santa Ana Stadium; Saints home game against Calvary Chapel begins at 7pm. Contact John Kulisich at kklubber@aol.com.

Friday night (10/5) – 6pm meet and greet at Zito’s Pizza, 2036 N. Tustin St., Orange; this is a byo (buy your own) affair.

Saturday (10/6) - Irvine Park, site 2, 10am till 4pm. Park entrance fee is $5.00 per car. Reunion picnic: BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, condiments, potato and macaroni salads, chips, sodas and water; side dishes always welcome. Acoustic music: musicians bring your instruments (electric at the Elks). The Man(n) is Brian at mannmademusic@cox.net.

Raffle - we have the following items:  Brian Mann has donated 2 nights at his Baywood Cottage on the coast (https://baywoodcottage.com), half a case of wine, and a gift basket, so far.  Anyone who wishes to contribute please contact Kathy Goddard at luv2teachninos@yahoo.com.

Saturday night (10/6) – 7:30-12pm Orange Elks Club, 211 E. Chapman, Orange (the circle), Hors d’oeuvres, dessert, 2 drinks, door prizes and music.

Preliminary costs are projected to be $20-25 per person for the picnic and $15-20 per person for the Elks club; raffle tickets $3 each or 2 for $5. These will become more definite as we know how many are attending. So now we need to know who’s coming to which event and how many!! So if you would either reply to this email by marking the boxes below or send a separate email to any committee member.
